Catholic Community Services (CCS) seeks donations for its fifth annual “Operation Bundle Up,” which provides winter coats and accessories to families in need.
CCS is looking for new or gently used coats, gloves, snowsuits, boots and ear muffs, along with new hats and scarves. All donations should be clean and free of tears or other damage.
An outreach of archdiocesan Catholic Social Services, CCS supports youth and families through a number of educational programs and community resources.
This year’s Operation Bundle Up will take place on Saturday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. William Parish Hall, located at the corner of Robbins Avenue and Argyle Street in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia. Coats and winter accessories will be distributed while supplies last, with one coat per child or adult. Children must be present to receive a coat.
