Event Description
Hoping for something more meaningful to do on New Year’s Eve? Spend it with the CCYA with our Holy New Year’s Trifecta: Adoration, Mass, and Party!
This year we are very pleased to announce that the Catholic Center for Young Adults and the Young Adults at the Cathedral are teaming up for 2019’s edition of Holy New Year’s, so we excitingly will be at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul!
Welcome in the new year in a unique and holy way! We will be offering Holy Hour and Mass, followed by a reception for some good ole merrymaking. Our very own Father Dennis Gill will be celebrating Mass along with Father Shaun Mahoney.
Young adults who plan to come also have the opportunity to participate in this Mass. We are looking for ushers, altar servers, musicians/singers, and people to help with the preparation and setup of refreshments. If you want to participate, please message back directly on Facebook.
N.B.: New Year’s Day is the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God, a holy day of obligation for 2019, so you might as well get your holy points AND party it up the right way. #PTL #blessup
