Event Description

All men are invited to join Catholic men from throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for the 11th Annual Archdiocesan Catholic Men’s Conference on Saturday, March 9 at Neumann University’s Mirenda Center.

The Man Up Philly speaker lineup for 2019 will be great. We welcome for the first time, acclaimed author and speaker Matthew Kelly and former NFL quarterback and legendary Philadelphia Eagle, Ron Jaworski.

Matthew Kelly is the founder of the Dynamic Catholic Institute whose mission is to re-energize the Catholic Church in America by developing world-class resources that inspire people to rediscover the genius of Catholicism.

Ron Jaworski was quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles from 1977-86, getting them into the playoffs in 1978 and 1979, and reaching the Super Bowl in 1980, the same year he was named league MVP. He was also an NFL analyst on ESPN.

We welcome back Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, globally recognized Catholic speaker, and acclaimed Irish tenor Mark Forrest, who will again provide inspirational accompaniment during a special eucharistic adoration.

The sacrament of reconciliation will be offered, and the conference will conclude with Mass celebrated by Bishop Timothy C. Senior. Lunch is included.
