St. John Cantius Parish in Philadelphia will enshrine a first-class relic (a vial of blood) of St. John Paul II during a March 16 vigil Mass at 5:00 p.m.

The presider will be Archbishop Mieczyslaw Mokrzynski, who served as Saint John Paul II’s personal secretary from 1996 to 2005, and who is the current Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lviv, Ukraine. The liturgy will be celebrated in both English and Polish.

A light reception will follow in the auditorium. All are welcome to attend.

St. John Cantius Church is located at 4415 Almond Street in Philadelphia.
