Event description
The Shroud of Turin is a centuries-old linen cloth which bears the image of a crucified man, a man that millions believe to be Jesus Christ. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Morton, has invited a speaker who has spent 30 years studying the shroud in all its aspects. He will display a life-size replica of the shroud and a two-foot statue that shows the position in which the body of Jesus was when he was wrapped in the burial cloth in order to be placed in the tomb.

Massimo Paris of Broomall was born and raised in Rome, Italy. For three decades he has studied, conducted research and visited sites related to the shroud. He went to Turin, Italy for the shroud’s exhibition in 2000 and venerated it personally.

There is no entrance fee for the presentation; participants may make a free-will donation.
