The Poor Clares of the Franciscan Monastery of St. Clare in Langhorne, Bucks County dedicated a period of three days of prayer in honor of St. Clare, the 12th century saint from Assisi, Aug. 8 to 10. In addition to novena prayers, eucharistic adoration and the Liturgy of the Hours, the cloistered, contemplative sisters celebrated St. Clare on her feast day, Sunday, Aug. 11.
