Lord David Alton, in his service as a member of the British Parliament, has advocated all over the world for those who are persecuted for their Christian faith in light of fierce persecutions taking place around the world. Lord Alton is also a student of history and a champion of the extraordinary stories of the English Catholic martyrs.
