Sister Mary Martin (Geraldine) Duffy, C.S.F.N., died Oct. 22 at Jesus of Nazareth (Mount Nazareth) Convent in Philadelphia. She was 85 and in the 68th year of religious life.
Born in Bristol, Pa., she attended St. Mark School and Nazareth Academy High School. She entered the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in 1953 and professed final vows in 1962. She was a graduate of Holy Family University and Villanova University.
Sister Martin served as an educator in Philadelphia at St. John Cantius, Our Lady of Calvary, Visitation B.V.M., Nazareth Academy High School and Nazareth Academy Grade School; in Florida at St. Brendan and St. Gregory parishes; and in Puerto Rico at Colegio Espiritu Santo.
In her retirement, she enjoyed making rosaries, praying for all those who would use them.
