The next Catholic History Lecture of the American Catholic Historical Society is Tuesday, April 20 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. William Portier of the University of Dayton will present the life of Father Thomas Judge (1868-1933).
While those in the Philadelphia Archdiocese know of him from the Northeast Philadelphia high school that bears his name, many are unaware of his pioneering work developing the lay apostolate.
The online event is free and open to all, but registration is required. To register, visit www.amchs.org.
