Do you find yourself mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, or emotionally burdened? Maybe not all the time, but in the past year, we’ve definitely experienced a lot of difficult and sudden change.
The National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia invites you and your loved ones to join us for our monthly healing Mass to offer these burdens to the loving and tender mercy of God.
The April healing Mass in the Upper Shrine is Sunday, April 18 at 12 noon, preceded by confessions at 11:30 a.m. Augustinian Father Kevin DePrinzio, the vice president for Mission and Ministry at Villanova University, will be the celebrant and homilist.
We gather on the third Sunday of every month from September to May, and pray for St. Rita’s healing intercession. During Mass we offer a special blessing with St. Rita oil and have an opportunity to reverence a relic of St. Rita.
The shrine is located at 1166 South Broad Street in South Philadelphia. Visit SaintRitaShrine.org for more details.
