Christine Eberle, author of “Finding God in Ordinary Time,” will facilitate an online retreat on St. Joseph on May 15, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Cranaleith Spiritual Center in Northeast Philadelphia.
The title of the retreat is “St. Joseph: Carpenter, Dreamer, Foster Father, Saint.”
Although Joseph does not speak a word in the Gospels, he is a powerful figure in the Catholic religious imagination and patron of the “hidden life,” moving Pope Francis to proclaim 2021 a Year of St. Joseph.
In this retreat, participants will meditate on the life of Joseph using creative stories, artistic renderings and Scripture scholarship, drawing closer to Joseph as our inspiration and guide in these difficult days.
