Kindergarteners through eighth graders at Our Mother of Consolation Catholic School in Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill section participated in “Dress Like a Teacher Day” on Friday, April 30.
The parochial school also celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day.
The school is located at 17 East Chestnut Hill Avenue, under the direction of Patricia Sheetz, principal.
According to the most recent figures from the Catholic Directory, in 2019 Our Mother of Consolation enrolled 234 K-8 students and 34 in the Pre-K program.
As the school’s website states: “Our Mother of Consolation Parish School is dedicated to the mission of educating the children of parishioners as well as others who entrust their children to our care. We are a diverse, faith-filled academic community that promotes mutual respect and social responsibility. Utilizing a 21st century curriculum we blend knowledge, thinking, innovation skills, and critical thinking components to enable lifelong learning.”
