All are invited to unite in prayer with Archbishop Nelson Perez to uphold the sanctity of life as he celebrates a Mass to open Respect Life Month on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia.
Following Mass, which is sponsored by the archdiocesan Office for Life and Family, all are invited to a brunch reception with the Sisters of Life.
The cathedral basilica is located at 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Limited parking is available.
Each October, Catholics of the United States are called to consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from conception to natural death.
Resources and more information about Respect Life Month activities are available from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
