The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence (DGDP) marked the Christmas season with a special party Dec. 10 for men and women served by The Communities of DGDP as well as their families and caregivers. Festivities included caroling by the Catholic Community Choir, dancing, a seated luncheon, the distribution of gifts, and a special visit from Santa. Joe Holden, CBS3 Anchor, served as the master of ceremonies at the event.
The Communities of DGDP are part of the Intellectual Disabilities Division of Catholic Social Services of Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It is an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.
