Sister Emily Therese Connor, a Sister of Mercy, age 80 died on January 7, 2023 at McAuley Convent. She is pre-deceased by her parents Thomas P. and Anastasia (McCormick), her brother Thomas and his wife Pat Connor.
In addition to her religious community, Sister Emily Therese is survived by her siblings: Mary Ellen (the late Joseph) Norpel, Anastasia Connor M.M., John J. (Susan), James J. (Mary), Cecilia West (Chris), Francis P, (Karen), Loretta Simpson (Charles) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. The funeral liturgy will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the Convent of Mercy Chapel at 515 Montgomery Avenue, Merion, Pa. 19066. Burial will follow in the Community cemetery.
