Catechists from throughout the Archdiocese gathered March 25 for the 32nd annual Catechetical Convocation at Archbishop John Carroll High School in Delaware County. This year’s theme was “This Is My Body, Given For You” highlighting Christ’s presence in the Eucharist. The day offered prayer and formation.

Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez celebrated Mass. He was joined by Monsignor Michael Magee, Dean of the School of Theological Studies and Full Professor and Chair of the Department of Systematic Theology as well as Full Professor of the Systematic Theology and Sacred Scripture Departments at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, who offered the keynote presentation.

The conference is co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Catechetical Formation and the Association of Parish Directors, Coordinators, and Administrators of Parish Religious Education Programs (PREP). To learn more about the Office for Catechetical Formation, please visit phillyocf.org(Photos: Sarah Webb)
