Faithful gathered March 11 at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul for the annual Cultural Heritage Mass. The Mass highlights the rich history and cultural diversity of the Catholic community in the five-county Archdiocese.
Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez celebrated Mass. He was joined by priests from 14 apostolates serving 36 parishes with distinct cultural and pastoral services who concelebrated this liturgy. Representatives from approximately 28 different national, ethnic, and Eastern Catholic Church traditions participated throughout the Liturgy.
Each year, the Mass is organized by the Office for Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees. It is supported by the Pontifical Mission Societies and the Office of Cultural Ministries. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
