The St. Peter Respect Life Committee will hold a Forum on End-of-Life Issues on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the St. Peter Parish Celebration Center.
Text: The St. Peter Respect Life Committee will hold a Forum on End-of-Life Issues on Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the St. Peter Parish Celebration Center.
The forum will feature Joe Zalot, Director of Education and Ethicist of the National Catholic Bioethics Center. He will be joined by Gerry Woods, Esq. of The Elder Care Law Center and Eileen Curtin, MSN, Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner.
Topics that will be covered include Advance Directives (Power of Attorney, Living Will, etc.), Determining Brain Death and Organ Donation, and more. Morning and afternoon Q&A Sessions will also be offered.
