The Catholic Charismatic Renewal hosted its Catholic Charismatic Conference Saturday, May 18 at Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Plymouth Meeting. This year’s theme was “Prophecy For Our Time: Are YOU ready? – Holy Spirit Empower Us!”
Key speakers of the day included Christine Watkins, author of The Warning: Testimonies and Prophecies of the Illumination of Conscience, Fr. Rick Wendell, a Catholic priest from Milwaukee, and Daniel O’Connor, adjunct professor of Philosophy and Religion at New York Community College. The emcee was Maria Richardson, Archdiocesan Delegate for the Charismatic Renewal. Music for the day was provided by Remnant Music Ministry.
Most Reverend John J. McIntyre, Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese of Philadelphia, presided over the closing Mass. Following Mass, Bishop McIntyre and Maria Richardson presented a bouquet of roses to Gloria Coyne as a thank you. Gloria served as the Liaison for the CCR in Philadelphia for decades until July 2023.
