Young Catholics from the Philadelphia region are invited to apply to serve as Perpetual Pilgrims on the 2027 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, a nationwide initiative that brings the Blessed Sacrament to communities across the United States.
Applications are now open for young adults ages 19-29 who wish to spend nearly seven weeks accompanying the Eucharist across the country as part of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, a program of the National Eucharistic Congress. Nine young adults, including one Media Missionary, will be selected to travel the full pilgrimage route from May 12 through June 30, 2027.
Perpetual Pilgrims participate in daily Mass, Eucharistic adoration, processions, service opportunities, evangelization efforts, and community life while helping foster devotion to the Eucharist in dioceses across the nation.
Now entering its fourth year, the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage has traveled through 40 states and 98 dioceses, drawing more than 466,000 participants along six routes named for saints including Elizabeth Ann Seton, Katharine Drexel, and Frances Xavier Cabrini.
Applicants should have a strong devotion to the Eucharist, a desire to help others encounter Christ, and a willingness to live on the road for several weeks. Pilgrims receive formation, training, and a stipend.
