Staff from Catholic Social Services gathered June 26 at the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its anger management and social responsibility therapy program, A Better Way.
Funded by the Philadelphia Department of Human Services, the program serves adjudicated youth 12-18 years old.
Through group learning principles, face-to-face interactions, trust building exercises, role-playing, and group discussions, youth develop skills to help implement alternative ways of dealing with conflict and violence.
