As Catholic school communities throughout the Philadelphia Archdiocese celebrate back-to-school, staff at 15 archdiocesan high schools and three schools of special education were treated to a Philly-style snack to help welcome in the new academic year.
Last week, members of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office of Catholic Education (OCE) dropped off large boxes of soft pretzels to teachers, staff, and administrator’s throughout the five-county region.
“As a welcome back to school, members from the secondary team in OCE wanted to provide a small token of our appreciation for our Catholic school employees in our secondary schools and schools of special education,” said Steve Clement, Chief Administrative Officer.
“Our teachers, faculty, and staff spend countless hours in preparation for these first few days of school and we wanted to say thank you and welcome back in a Philadelphia way! We are very grateful for their vocation to Catholic Education.”
William Brannick, Superintendent of Secondary Schools and Schools of Special Education, recently shared a back to school message kicking-off the 2024-2025 academic year. You can watch the video here.
“We look forward to being on campuses throughout this school year as well as recognizing our teachers celebrating milestone anniversaries throughout the fall,” said Clement.
