Explore Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary’s new campus in Lower Gwynedd on Oct. 13 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the seminarians of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary arrived on campus to mark the start of the institution’s 193rd year of priestly formation and the first year at the new at the new campus. In total, 140 seminarians are enrolled at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary for the 2024-2025 academic year, including 23 new seminarians.
To preserve the history of the Overbrook campus, which was home to Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary from 1871 to 2024, altars, stained-glass windows, and pews were moved from the chapels at that location to the chapel at the new Lower Gwynedd campus.
Tours will be led by seminarians, with the last tour beginning at 2:15 p.m.
All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be available.
Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary’s new campus is located at 1400 Evans Road in Ambler.
