On Sunday, Oct. 20, Archbishop Pérez along with staff from the newly formed archdiocesan Office for Strategic Planning gathered for the celebration of Mass followed by an evening of fellowship.
“This team is working directly with me and the [Auxiliary] Bishops, and supported by my Senior Staff, to look into our future with excitement and hope, answering the question, ‘Where does the Church need to be and how?'” the archbishop said in a Facebook post.
Office staff include Brian McCarthy, Chief Strategy Officer; Christian Collins, Director of Strategic Marketing; Megan McNichol, Assistant to Strategy Team; Sheila Rizzo, Director of Strategic Advancement; Lou Becht, Manager on Strategy Team; and Deacon Jim O’Neil, Director of Strategic Operations.
“Please join me in praying for them and this exciting initiative of the Church of Philadelphia,” the Archbishop added.
