Medical and healthcare professionals from throughout the region gathered Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia for the annual White Coat Mass.
Named after a doctor’s white coat and celebrated around the feast day of Saint Luke, patron saint of physicians, the Mass brings together many in the medical and healthcare profession to ask the Lord’s blessing upon the variety of their works. The Mass was sponsored by the St. John Neumann Guild of Philadelphia, a guild of the Catholic Medical Association. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
