Archbishop Pérez was joined by His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church; Archbishop Borys Gudziak of the Ukrainian Archeparchy of Philadelphia; and Cardinal Timothy Dolan of the Archdiocese of New York for a prayer service on Feb. 16. During the service, participants prayed for hope and perseverance, peace and justice in Ukraine.
The service observed the third anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine and is part of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia’s 24-hour spiritual renewal program, taking place from Feb. 15-16.
