Sister Alice T. Boyle SSJ, (formerly S. Grace Anthony,) age 88, died on July 4, 2026, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Anthony and Grace Boyle, she attended St. Vincent de Paul Grade School and Holy Family High School in Bayonne, NJ.

In September 1955 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1963.

Sister Alice ministered in the dioceses of Newark, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine Lee and Mary Ellen Hipsley, and brothers, Hugh and John Boyle. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, their extended families, and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Philadelphia.

Friends are invited to Saint Joseph Villa beginning at 9:30 AM on Monday July 20, 2026. A Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
