San Diego Bishop Flores dies at 66
SAN DIEGO (CNS) -- A late vocation to the priesthood, Bishop Cirilo B. Flores worked as a lawyer for 10 years before returning to the seminary. He was ordained in 1991. He was a bishop for three years before serving as coadjutor bishop of San Diego, but spent only one year as the ordinary before his death.

Sister Margaret Jones, O.S.F., died Sept. 6 at age 77. She was one of the founders of St. Mary's Franciscan Shelter in Phoenixville, and a teacher at St. Pius X High School in Pottstown, among other schools in many states.
