Deacon Coyle dies at 84; funeral rites at St. Kevin Church, Springfield

Father Freeman, longtime Newman chaplain, dies at 65

Father John A. Freeman, 65, a former pastor of St. John Fisher Parish in Boothwyn and former Newman Center chaplain, died Sept. 21. He was Newman chaplain for Bryn Mawr, Haverford and Swarthmore Colleges for 15 years. He also taught on the adjunct faculty of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. He was appointed pastor of St. John Fisher Parish in 2004 and retired for reasons of health in 2011.

Sister Mary De Angelis, former principal of St. Nicholas of Tolentine, dies at 92

Sister Mary De Angelis, 92, died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Saint Joseph Hall, Villa Walsh, Morristown, N J. Viewing will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at St. Lucy Chapel, Villa Walsh, Morristown, New Jersey, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 4 p.m. by Rev. John Rossi, Director of Catholic Identity, at Paul VI High School in the Diocese of Camden. Interment will take place following the liturgy at Ave Maria Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Doyle Funeral Home, Morristown, N J.

Permanent Deacon Steven Santoleri, ordained one year early, dies at 55

Deacon R. Steven Santoleri, 55, in ministry at St. Cornelius Parish in Chadds Ford, died Sept. 13. He was ordained by Bishop Daniel E. Thomas on June 2, 2012, one year ahead of his scheduled ordination date because of his very grave diagnosed cancer. Bishop Thomas will also be celebrant and homilist at Deacon Santoleri's scheduled Sept. 17 funeral Mass.
