The 40 Days for Life presentation will be held Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. at St. Peter Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, Chester County.

The program is titled “Is this the beginning of the end of abortion? How 40 Days for Life is Saving Lives, One Baby, One Mother, One Clinic at a Time.”

40 Days for Life is a worldwide grassroots campaign that aims to end abortion through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigil and community outreach. Steve Karlen, director of North American Outreach for the national 40 Days for Life team, will tell the story of how God turned one hour of prayer by four people in 2004 into a worldwide movement that is now impacting the abortion industry.

Information will be provided for the local 40 Days for Life campaign that began Sept. 25, in which participants are praying in front of the Planned Parenthood clinic in West Chester.

The program is sponsored by the St. Peter Parish Respect Life Committee.  It is free and reservations are not needed.
