The Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Pastoral Care for Migrants and Refugees sponsored the first annual African Heritage Mass Oct. 19 commemorating the rich heritage and diversity of the African Catholic community in the archdiocese.

The Mass, celebrated by Father Livinus Ugochukwu and including four choirs, was multilingual and multicultural, representing the linguistic and cultural diversity of Africa. Participants wore traditional attire of their countries of origin. See the full story here. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
