Normally our Across the Aisles photo feature takes a weekly look at parishioners and clergy in their parish church. But there is praise and fellowship also in the rows of a local farm producing God’s bountiful of harvest to feed his people.

Red Hill Farm, a small, six-acre community cooperative run by the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia in Aston, Delaware County, recently received a Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia grant to feed the 120-member families, and other area residents. But the wholesome labor performed under blue and sunny skies Aug. 6 also fed the spirits of those who worked the land and benefited from its produce. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
