A women’s 24-hour retreat, “Walking in Confidence, Trusting in God’s Promises,” will be held Friday, Sept. 29 to Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Family Life Center of Malvern Retreat House, 315 South Warren Avenue, Malvern.

Speaker Jennifer Hubbard will share a message about the mercy and hope God provides us, even in the face of unexpected life events. Hubbard is a mother who lost her 6-year-old daughter Catherine Violet Hubbard during the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Since that day, Jennifer and her husband Matt have turned to their faith in their search for peace, and they found that God has provided them with the answers they needed.

This retreat will make you think, and it will leave you joyful as the realization of God’s everyday presence unfolds.
