The Archdiocese of Philadelphia honored this year’s distinguished academic scholars at 33 archdiocesan and private Catholic high schools during two Academic Honors Convocation ceremonies May 18 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.
The following 138 students are all graduating seniors who were in the top 3% of their class.
They include those denoted by asterisks, which are the Neumann Scholars of the Connolly Foundation. Begun in 1995, this scholarship program identifies academically talented eighth grade students through an independently administered competitive examination and provides four-year scholarships to attend any archdiocesan high school.
