The Miraculous Medal Shrine hosted its annual May procession to honor the Blessed Mother on Monday, May 17.
The celebration honored Mary with songs of praise and worship, a recitation of the rosary, novena prayers, roses, a special crown and celebration of the Mass followed by a blessing by a Vincentian priest.
The shrine invites everyone to honor Mary this May through the Marian series “Motherhood of Mary” each Friday in the month via Zoom from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The Daughters of Charity present the series exploring how the Blessed Mother has played a unique role in church history and for centuries.
Upcoming sessions include Mary as the Sorrowful Mother on May 21 and Mary as the Adoptive Mother May 28. See full details here, along with videos of the two previously completed sessions on May 7 and May 14.
The shrine is located at 500 East Chelten Avenue in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Learn more at MiraculousMedal.org.
