Sandra E. (Sandy) Slater died peacefully Sunday, Dec. 12.

An active pro-life Catholic, she was the president of the Bucks County Pro-Life Coalition at the time of her death.

She was a diligent advocate for the voice of the unborn and coordinated many events to support local pregnancy centers, as well as communicating and meeting with federal, state and local government officials related to life-affirming legislation.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, preceded by a viewing at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Church, 2545 Pump Station Road, Quakertown.

Interment will follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Isidore Parish.
