Spiritual direction is a practice that helps us notice and be attentive to God’s presence in our prayer and daily life. Spiritual directors are companions who listen attentively to our present experience of prayer. As they listen, they also invite us to listen to the Word of God and see how it fosters our choices.
Sister Barbara Springer, S.S.J., formerly on staff at the Jesuit Center at Wernersville and at St.-Mary-of-the-Sea in Cape May, will be the presenter for “Deepening Our Relationship with God through Spiritual Direction” to be held Saturday, Feb. 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Mother Boniface Spirituality Center, 3501 Solly Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.
Three other seasoned spiritual directors will also share their perceptions and experiences.
The $35 fee covers a continental breakfast and lunch in addition to the program. For more information and to register, see www.msbt.org or call 267-350-1830.
