Man Up Philly 2022, the 14th annual men’s spirituality conference, returns to the Philadelphia Archdiocese on Saturday, March 19 at Immaculata University.
The theme is “Come Back to Me,” and all men – husbands, fathers, sons, brothers, friends – are invited to join their brothers in Christ for a day of faith and fellowship.
All will be welcomed to return to the Lord with all their hearts and rediscover the power and purpose of our faith.
Leaders for the day-long conference include:
— Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, acclaimed speaker, TV and radio host and author of “Behold the Man: A Catholic Vision of Male Spirituality;”
— Keith Nester, minister to youth and young adults and author of “The Convert’s Guide to Roman Catholicism;”
— Pat Chambers, former NCAA men’s basketball head coach at Boston University and Penn State University; and
— Mark Forrest, an internationally recognized Irish tenor who will lead music during eucharistic adoration.
The sacrament of reconciliation will be available, and the conference will conclude with Mass celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Perez.
The conference’s Heed the Call segment will help promote vocations for the priesthood with talks by Father David Friel and a seminarian from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, as well as promoting vocations to the permanent diaconate.
