As listening sessions for the Synod on Synodality continue throughout the universal church and in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, Archbishop Nelson Perez joined with college students, other young adults and ministry leaders at two listening sessions April 3-4 at La Salle University and Villanova University. In both large and small groups, the archbishop heard a wide array of viewpoints from the young adults.   • Participants wrote messages reflecting their experience of listening at the La Salle session, and fixed the messages to windows for all passersby to see.

  • The participants’ messages were in the form of a footprint, showing how they were steps on a journey of listening with the church.
