Teresa Dellicompagni has been named as the next president of Bishop Shanahan High School, according to a June 25 announcement from the archdiocesan Office for Catholic Education. The appointment becomes effective July 1, 2024.
Dellicompagni assumes the role of school president following the May announcement of Reverend John E. Donia’s appointment as Pastor of Saint Elizabeth Parish in Upper Uwchlan and Parochial Administrator of Saint Thomas More Parish in Pottstown. Father Donia had been appointed the Chester County high school’s president in June 2022.
The announcement describes her as being “an integral part of the Bishop Shanahan community for 14 years” and having “a strong commitment to advancing the mission of Catholic Education.”
Dellicompagni previously served as Bishop Shanahan’s Business Department Faculty member, Assistant Principal for Students Affairs, and most recently as Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs. In addition, she serves on the Academic and Athletic Committees of the board of limited jurisdiction and was previously on committees including Marketing and Enrollment, Strategic Plan, and Health and Safety Plan.
Dellicompagni holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University, a Master of Business Administration from West Chester University, and a Secondary Education Certificate from Immaculata University.
