Sister Mary William SSJ, (Anne Marie Herron), age 82, died on November 6, 2024, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Frank and Mary (nee Higgins) Herron, she attended Corpus Christi Grade School and John W. Hallahan High School.

In September 1960 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1968.

Sister Mary ministered in the dioceses of Camden, Harrisburg, Newark, Philadelphia and Trenton.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, James and Billy Herron and her sister Kathleen Herron. She is survived by her sister, Mary Prinzo, brothers Frank and John Herron, her sisters in law, many loving nephews, nieces, and their extended families, and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph.

Visitation by relatives and friends will begin at 9:30 am on Wednesday, November 20th at Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
