John J. Madison

Feb. 29, 1916 - Aug. 15, 1987 On the 25th anniversary of his entrance into eternity on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the life and memory of John J. Madison is lovingly recalled with the utmost gratitude to Almighty God! His life was one of intimate union with the Passion of Christ through his devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Faithfully living his vocation as a husband and father, John loved his wife ANNE with "a love without measure" and was devoted to his children, JOHN, BARRY, DENNIS, KEVIN, MARIE THERESE, and CHRISTOPHER! He was an authentic Catholic gentleman, despite his human weakness, and he genuinely loved Christ and His Church. The lives of all who knew him were enriched and the world is a better place because of him! We shall never see his like again. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace! Lovingly missed by his 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well.
