The Mercedarian priest and pastor of the parish in Philadelphia's Overbrook section died unexpectedly Oct. 5 at age 62 while visiting his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. He was ordained there in 1986 after receiving his formation at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.
