The Adult Faith Formation Academy of St. Mary Magdalen Parish, Media, continues its Lenten Lecture Series this month. The series considers the deadly sins the devil uses to attack us and God’s plan of mercy to redeem us. Each night a speaker will focus on a capital sin and the virtue that combats it.
Upcoming Monday night meetings beginning at 7 p.m. in the St. Francis Room of the church, located at 2400 North Providence Road in Media, are as follows:
March 7 — Sloth, by Father Matt Guckin
March 14 — Greed, by Rebecca Pine
March 21 — Gluttony and Lust, by Bill Donaghy
The academy welcomes everyone to the series and reminds them that in this jubilee Year of Mercy, transformation is possible through Divine Mercy.
