"The best thing we can offer our people is the sacraments well-celebrated" is just one saying of Msgr. John Miller that Bishop Timothy Senior, rector of St. Charles Seminary, recalls from his friend, whose funeral Mass he will celebrate Dec. 6.

Educated at the Vatican and for years a professor of liturgy and dean of men at St. Charles Seminary, the retired pastor of St. Frances Cabrini Parish died Dec. 1. His funeral is Dec. 5.

Sister Regina Mundi Boell, 63 years in IHM order, dies

The Immaculate Heart of Mary sister died at age 81 in Camilla Hall, Immaculata, where she also ministered in the Apostolate of Prayer and managed the gift shop for many years.

IHM Sister Joan Connell dies; was teacher, school counselor

The former Sister Eugene Mary entered the Immaculate Heart Sisters in 1954 and ministered for 65 years in education. She died at age 85 in Camilla Hall.

The Sister of St. Francis of Philadelphia, a native of Mahanoy City, Pa., was a teacher or principal at Catholic schools in four dioceses for most of her 81 years in religious life.

Sister Elizabeth Ledger dies at 90; taught in three dioceses

After attending St. Francis of Assisi Grade School in Norristown and West Catholic High School in Philadelphia, she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1952 with the name Sister M. Helen Anita.
