Msgr. Joseph Corley, beloved pastor and friend, dies at 72

The pastor of Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Darby, dean for Eastern Delaware County and rector of Villa St. Joseph died there June 29 after a short illness. His viewing is July 2 and the funeral Mass July 3.

Funeral rites set for Sister Anne Bradley, S.S.J.

The former Sister Bernard Patrick entered the sisters of St. Joseph in 1954 from Delaware County and served in major archdioceses in the Mid-Atlantic. She was 84. The funeral Mass will be May 28.

The Sister of St. Joseph, formerly Sister Hugh Patrice, was born in Ridley Park and graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School. She entered religious life in 1964 and served in the Philadelphia Archdiocese.

Bishop Joseph Galante, bishop of Camden, dies at 80

After St. Timothy School and St. Hubert's High School, she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph as Sister Vincent Gerard, eventually teaching in the archdiocese and in four other dioceses in Pa. and N.J.

Sister Margaret Kelly, music educator and harpist, dies at 92

The West Catholic for Girls High School grad entered the Sisters of Mercy in 1944, earned several degrees including a master's in music and was campus minister at La Salle University for 23 years.
