The Sister of St. Joseph, formerly Sister Hugh Patrice, was born in Ridley Park and graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School. She entered religious life in 1964 and served in the Philadelphia Archdiocese.

Bishop Joseph Galante, bishop of Camden, dies at 80

Sister Margaret Kelly, music educator and harpist, dies at 92

Sister Maureen Barr, S.S.J., dies at age 64

After graduating from Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia, she entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1973, and would go on to minister in the archdiocese and in Harrisburg and Wilmington.

St. Joseph Sister Marie Cooke dies at age 89

The former Sister George Miriam entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1950 from St. Boniface Parish and Hallahan High. She would go on to serve in three dioceses, including Philadelphia.
